For your child, a day of day care at either of Small World’s centers – in Waldwick, NJ – is a day filled with exploration, discovery and new experiences.

From toddlers through prekindergarten, we encourage your child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth through activities such as dress up, creativity blocks, art, music, class trips, guest appearances, age-appropriate computer exploration from 2½ year-olds and up, library, science, math, and outdoor play.

A Typical Day For Your Child At Small World Would Be:

7:00 – Breakfast and free play activities. Children are allowed to choose their activity.
9:00 – Class begins with Circle Time. Some activities during Circle Time include calendar familiarization and songs. Themes of the day are introduced.
  9:45 – Snack time
10:00 – Computers, math center, science center, music, etc.
10:45 – Free play outside
11:30 – Wash and clean up
11:45 – Story time or music
12:30 – Dismissal of half-day children and nap for others
  3:00 – Children wake gently between 12:30pm and 3pm
  3:15 – Snack
  3:30 – Crafts, music, or group game

Schedule repeats itself; closing at 6:00 p.m.

We host children from the communities of Montvale, Allendale, Wyckoff, Woodcliff Lake, Saddle River, Midland Park, Ramsey, Ridgewood, Upper Saddle River, and the immediately surrounding areas.
